Recruitment Process

Who ever thought to start an interesting web page with an explanation of a process? Good question. This wouldn’t be the usual place to start but we think it’s important for you know how this first contact with us is going to work.

First you tell us who you are, how to contact you and send us your CV. Each job opportunity has a place for your CV and contact details.

We will send you an initial confirmatory email upon receipt as well as a follow up email to outline next steps. Your CV will be forwarded to the recruiting Manager and based on their review they will decide if they want to schedule interviews.

The Petrotechnics’ interview process is important but informal and brief.  Initially we will arrange a call with you to discuss your background and experiences.  The next stage is a face to face meeting with the recruiting Manager and a member of the HR team. We like to give candidates a chance to meet the people that they may be working with so interviews frequently involve other team members.  We want to give you every opportunity, not only to find out about the role, but also the company and give you a real sense of what it’s actually like to work here.

For us the interview is a very much a 2 way process. You need to decide if we’re the right company for you, as much as we need to decide if you’re a good fit for us!
