BP Angola
Upon delivering our solutions to various BP assets on a global basis including in the North Sea, Gulf of Mexico, the Caribbean, BP also awarded Petrotechnics to install Sentinel PRO® and train users on one of their main FPSO’s in the waters of Angola. As one of the world’s major centres of offshore Oil & Gas Exploration, Petrotechnics is helping BP Angola to achieve targets and improve safety from their deepwater asset.
Shell EPE
Petrotechnics completely transformed the way that 3,500 personnel worked across 22 offshore facilities in Shell’s North Sea operations. Petrotechnics completed the project in 9 months and implemented this in a 4 month window, resulting in performance improvements in efficiency, production, safety and immediate savings of $10 million p/a.
National Grid
National Grid was seeking a best practice integrated safe system of work solution that was already proven in the industry. In the first two weeks of implementation, Grain LNG instantly recognised the efficiency benefits that Sentinel PRO® could deliver. Following the successful transformation of business processes at Grain LNG, the company also implemented the solution at their Avonmouth site.
BP Texas City
Arising from our Control of Work, Gap Analyses and various workshop sessions, Petrotechnics helped BP Texas City to recognise areas that needed to be improved upon in order to increase productivity and reduce risk. They expanded Sentinel PRO® across all of their refinery units and with Petrotechnics’ hands on experience; they were able to demonstrate high levels of operational consistency which was viewed as a major challenge within the business.
Shell Tabangao
Petrotechnics implemented ISSOW in the Shell Refinery facility at Tabangao in The Philippines. Shell Tabangao saw immediate benefits from improvements to risk assessment and safety process rigour. This implementation provided a regional benchmark ISSOW business process which was subsequently adopted by other Shell businesses in the region.
Sakhalin Energy Investment Company ( SEIC)
A major success for Shell and Petrotechnics as a multi-stream integrated operation to implement Sentinel PRO®. Petrotechnics’ system was deployed for offshore and onshore operations including Oil Processing and LNG Plants in an extremely remote location and severe operating environment.
BP Caspian
The BP Caspian project included deploying our solution to highly diverse installations including; 5 offshore platforms, 2major terminals and numerous pumpstations along 3 different pipelines. BP Caspian required a solution that would harmonise control of work while addressing the various needs of each installation and bringing standardisation and consistency across the region. Personnel at these sites had experience of Sentinel PRO® at other business units and recognised the safety and efficiency benefits we could deliver.
