Introduction (Level 1)
The aim of the course is for the delegate(s) to achieve competence in the use of ISSOW as a Performing Authority.
The course covers the following topics:
- Access Software
- Work Control Certificate (WCC) - Types and Categories
- How to create a WCC
- Level 1 Risk Assessment (L1RA)
- Certificate Search
- Copy/ Edit function for WCC
- WCC Lifecycle
- Lessons Learned and Audit
- Routines
- Paper Back-up System
A Formal assessment process can be included to demonstrate delegates understanding of ISSOW and the taught material.
The target audience (typically Performing Authority) includes those who in their normal day to day duties are required to:
- Create WCCs (incl. risk assessment)
- Accept WCCs
- Conduct TRIC/TRIM/TBT
- Suspend WCC
- Job Complete WCCs
- Do not apply Isolations
Courses normally take place over a 1 day period (0815 to 1700)
Delegates are expected to have basic IT skills.
