Mike Neill, President: Petrotechnics USA Inc
Mike Neill is the President of Petrotechnics USA Inc. a wholly owned subsidiary of Petrotechnics Ltd.
He joined Petrotechnics in 1994 and has been instrumental in helping it grow from its early beginnings to a
$30m company with 180 employees. As well as managing the US office in Houston, Mike is directly accountable
for all Training and Coaching services globally. He sits on the Corporate Leadership Team, is an executive member
of the board of Directors as well as being a shareholder in the company.
Prior to joining Petrotechnics, Mike spent most of his career as a Petroleum Engineer working for BP Upstream Operations
in many locations including Aberdeen, Norway, Wytch Farm, London and Egypt. He originally spent 5 years with Petrotechnics
in Houston then moved to Aberdeen in 2000. In 2007 he returned to Houston to build a new office and grow capability in the region.
Mike graduated from Imperial College of Science and Technology, the University of London in 1977 with a BSc in
Mechanical Engineering and subsequently went on to graduate a year later with an MSc in Petroleum Engineering.
He also possesses an MBA in Strategic Management from the Peter F Drucker Graduate Management Centre,
Claremont Graduate School in California.
