Phil Murray, Chief Executive Officer
Phil Murray established Petrotechnics in 1989 with a vision of merging his
extensive oil industry experience with revolutionary computer technologies,
proven safety management techniques, superior staff training and competency
improvement; all with a view to delivering real, positive results to its clients.
Born in 1958, and a graduate of the University of Salford in 1980 with a BSc
in Mechanical Engineering, Phil is particularly skilled at combining an engineer's
attention to detail with an entrepreneur's vision of the future.
Following his university studies, he was employed by BP where he worked
internationally in a variety of technical, operational and managerial roles.
During the ensuing 10 years with BP he was involved in field development economics,
operational management and petroleum engineering; all activities that apply to the core
client operational disciplines served by Petrotechnics.
Since its inception, Petrotechnics has evolved into a thriving company with
a proven track record in helping leading oil and gas corporations to radically
improve frontline work execution.
