Aberdeen Champions win European Business Award

During an award ceremony in Paris today, Aberdeen-based Petrotechnics were crowned the winners of the European Business Growth Strategy of the Year. Petrotechnics beat some of Europe’s most prominent businesses from far a field as Cyprus, Germany and The Netherlands, including home grown Wood Mackenzie to the title.
The International Service Company has experienced 4 years of annual organic growth at greater than 60%, their Integrated Safe System of Work, Sentinel PRO,TM is deployed on all five continents, in 17 countries, at over 180 locations and with over 35,000 registered users – with operations ranging from Far-East Russia to Canada, the North Sea and West Africa.
Phil Murray, Petrotechnics CEO, was in Paris to receive the award, he commented: “6 Years ago our vision was to become the world leaders in transforming the safety and efficiency of frontline operations in the energy industry. Today, we have global contracts with three of the world’s major oil company’s, 80% of the North Sea using our product, a growing staff rate of 220% over the past 3 year and established offices in Houston, Trinidad & Tobago and Russia.”
